I provide support for patients and their families with advanced disease through the Palliative Care Consult Service. They can be in active treatment, or transitioning to end of life care. I love to talk to other nurses about how to integrate palliative care into their personal practice and to support professionalism in my colleagues. I like to run, and am currently training for a half marathon! I believe in supporting ONS and local chapters through volunteering!
